Put spunk in your step

Despite this snowy and cold winter weather, spring is going to be here before we know it.  When we’ll be smiling when the sunshine comes with warmer weather, we’ll be able to put our Uggs and Bean Boots back in the closet and reach for a new pair of shoes.  But what do you do when it’s too hot for Uggs, but not warm enough for some sandals?  Here are a few different options that are not only perfect for this type of weather, but are trendy as well.

1. Toms

They come in all colors and even designs and are perfect for spring weather.  We’re talking about the “classic” style, but Toms makes all kinds of different shoes.  With the “classics’, you can wear them with jeans, crop pants, dresses, shorts, you name it.  If you want one that you can mix and match with your entire wardrobe, go for a gray or navy color.  If you want ones that will stand you, there are plenty of designs to pick from as well.  Not only are they a cute shoe, but they also are joined with a phenomenal cause.  Tom’s “One for One” means for every pair of Toms you purchase, a pair is also given to someone in need who is without shoes.  This is a perfect way to not feel guilty about buying a pair of Toms — you’re helping society!  If that’s not justification, we don’t know what is….

2. Converse

Another option for this type of weather are Converse “Chuck Taylors, also known as “chucks“.  In past years, they’ve been linked to a “hipster” look, but it seems that Converse are starting to become more popular even with those who don’t consider themselves “edgy”, if you will.  Like Toms, getting a color such as white, gray, or black will allow for more versatile wear.  If you want a pair that will catch someone’s eye, go for a hot pink or other bright color.  There are both low and high tops, and both can be worn with all types of clothing.

Both of these options are a great transition for the “not so quite summer, but warmer than winter” weather.  You can find both shoes at department stores or on their own websites.

I don’t like how one of the pictures look and I really want to remove/delete it. Help? Thanks..
