Spring showers

Who says you can’t look stylish when the weather isn’t cooperating?  With spring upon us comes lots of rain showers.  Today’s fashion has given us lots of options to look chic while still staying dry.  Take a look :

1. Hunters

You can never go wrong with a pair of Hunters.  You can wear them with jeans, leggings, tights, or shorts.  They come in over 10 different colors, so especially if you want to make a statement every time it rains, you can do that!  When it’s colder out, put a pair of fleece liners in them to stay warm.  For the spring months, you won’t need to line them.  There are two different options; tall ones which fall beneath the knee or shorter ones that hit mid-calf. There’s also a glossy finish as well as a matte finish. To get the most wear out of them, it might be safer to go with a more neutral color like black or gray.  On the flip side, you can’t go wrong with a pair of bright red ones!

2. “Duck” Boots

L.L. Bean’s classic bean boots are making more appearances on sidewalks than ever before.  They’re stylish, and can be worn in snow, mud, rain, and other wet conditions. They’re carried by different brands, like L.L. Bean, J. Crew, and Sperry Topsider.  The top of the shoes are a light brown, but the rubber front of the shoe come in different colors like black, navy, and even plaid.

3. Rain Jackets

With today’s technology, rain jackets are being made with super thin material.  They’re coming in “slim fit” now, so that you aren’t just walking around in a baggy jacket made of plastic.  Like the rain boots, going for a more neutral color will allow you to wear it with just about anything.  However, if you want a hot pink rain coat, then by all means go for it!  There’s nothing wrong with making a statement.
