Let’s all be honest, this is the time of year that everyone hates. With the holidays pushed into the past, we crave flip flops and sunshine, yet get stuck with murky snow and a brisk wind chill. We dig through our closets, searching for that one piece that is as cozy as an XL sweatshirt but actually acceptable to wear in public.
A blanket scarf is a perfect accessory that adds color and comfort to any outfit.
One of my favorite things about the blanket scarf is its versatility. It can be paired with a vest and ripped jeans for a little warmer day or a puffy parka when you really need to bundle up. There are also so many ways to wear it–you can hang it over your neck like a traditional scarf or you can wrap it around yourself and fasten it for a belt for a more chic look.
The link in the picture below helps explain many different ways to style the scarf!
Blanket scarfs are transitional, making them a great item to have in your wardrobe. If you’re headed out in early fall or early spring, throw on a blanket scarf instead of a coat to fight off that annoying chill. Pairing the scarf with a skirt or dress also dresses up the look, making it easy to where anywhere anytime.
Blanket scarfs are also for men as well. The add a trendy, yet sophisticated feel and are very easy to wear. Its variety of colors and textures make it great accessory for either gender.
However you plan to style it, the blanket scarf is true key to success to surviving winter with style
