Flare On

By Tori Levy

The ’70s have made their way back with a bigger flare than ever. As they say, out with the old and in with the new. It’s time to shake up your wardrobe with a new fashion choice. Skinnies have always been around, and I’m sure they’ll be back, but it’s time to grab those flare jeans and make an appearance.

They’re everyday jeans that can be dressed up or down; whether it’s flats or wedges, flares look good in both. They elongate legs by coming down wider around the calf and for short girls (like me), that’s always a plus. They also give off the Woodstock feel and make every girl feel retro in a modern world.

They’re easy to get at cheap prices, and are now making their rounds to most boutiques and online stores. So go get your ’70s on!

Jessica Alba rocks her flared jeans with a graphic t-shirt and a blazer, a look that can easily be seen on a night out.

While you’re picking out which flare jeans best suit you, make sure to get a pair of round sunglasses to complete that ’70s look.
