Jeans are the basic staple to anyone’s everyday style. Now, with the emergence of leggings as an everyday item, jeans have been placed on the back burner, only reserved for special occasions. However, with the start of fall, these blue beauties are making a comeback!
Recently, flare jeans have become quite an item. They take their inspiration from the ‘70s bell bottom look. They reemerged in the early 2000s as a staple for everyday wear. The great thing about these is that they can be paired with a lacey top or tank and light sweater for a cool boho vibe. They’re perfect with a plain tee and belt, too!
Also, they’re a very flattering shape for any body type! Skinny jeans are great, and quite frankly, I’m not sure they’ll ever totally go out of style. But the flared/boot cut style is great because they are not suctioned to your body. They give you some room to breathe while still flattering your figure. The flared bottoms will balance out a top-heavy figure. An hourglass figure will also benefit, as it emphasizes curves. They also have a way of lengthening your legs, as they widen towards the feet—perfect for petites!
This style is great for the fall. You could pair literally anything with them and it will look great! A big comfy sweater will be perfect because the jeans can balance the bulky top, tapering towards the thighs and extending to the feet. And on those oddly warm days, a light sweater and tank will be perfect for a vintage look. A dark wash can be dressed up with a button-down shirt for a sophisticated look for an interview, and dressed down for a night with friends by wearing a plain tee. Also, they’re perfect for a night on the town. Pair with pumps and a figure-hugging tank for a fun, confident look!
The best part is that jeans are timeless, even classic. Because they’re so basic, they are perfect to dress up and down. Add some cool jewelry and some curls for a beautiful “girl next door look.” Throw on some pointed flats or heels with a dark lip color for a cool, polished look. The possibilities are endless! Anyone can pull this off, so long as you do everything with confidence!
