Considering daylight breaks my groggy view of the world every morning while walking to my 8:30 class, I find myself time and time again reaching for my sunglasses. My staple has most recently become aviators. My hand reaches for this classic style purely because of how universally flattering this shape appears on the wearer. Round, heart, diamond, or square head shape, you’re sure to look great in a pair of military inspired glasses.

A fun way to mix it up from the everyday pair is semi-see through lenses. While not completely hiding you from the daylight, this pair will give you a springy and awake look.

Another on-trend version of this essential shape is an oversized, mirrored pair. If you tend to roll out of bed and head to class, these are the glasses for you. Hiding the dark circles and sleepless look from your eyes, these are a sure fire way to tell the world, “I tried a little this morning to look awake.”

My personal favorite, the oversized brow bar, adds interest and flare to an otherwise basic pair of glasses. This style is more classic and traditional to the original form of the aviator. It still has its flattering shape while adding a little extra oomf to an everyday pair.

Whether you’re sleepless, light sensitive, or a just not a morning person, aviators should be your go-to, on-trend pair of sunnies for the upcoming spring season.
