Remington Williams walked for some of the big brand names, including Calving Klein and Marc Jacobs. Not a bad start for a girl serving up some tacos and guac in Austin, Texas.

According to Vogue, the story behind it was that a scout saw her working hard doing the dishes and pointed her out. Her defined cheeks and slim figure might explain why she was an easy pick, but even she found the opportunity surprising. The scout immediately asked her to come and be in NYFW- one the most competitive, intensive fashion show in the world. Now she’s gracefully walking her way down the catwalk in couture clothing. Go, Remington!

She first earned a spot in Calvin Klein. She did a good job impressing the casting director Raf Simmons. During her callback, Simmons took time to personally teach her how to walk for the show because he believed in Williams completely. A spot in Marc Jacobs is what really pushed her to the top, joining Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber as part of the lineup. She stated in Vogue, “I got a notification that I had a fit with Marc Jacobs in an hour. When I arrived, he was there to greet me. I was so excited because I felt like I was apart of the creative process from the very beginning.”

She will soon be headed to Europe for more shows, as she continues strutting in stilettos- so get ready fashion world.
