As great as sleeping in on a Saturday sounds, sometimes we all need an early morning refresher. Get up, grab your friends, and make your way uptown to Oxford’s weekly farmer’s market.
If you’re struggling to get out of bed, here’s some food for thought. Pumpkin cookies? Apple cider? Yes, please! There is such a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, muffins, bread, juice cleanses- and of course the most important, freshly brewed coffee to help start your day off right.
The best part, it’s less than a mile away!
Not only does our sweet OX have all the yummy fixin’s, they even sell beautiful flowers and succulents! Their abundance of sunflowers is sure to brighten anyone’s day.
The idea behind the market is to enjoy yourself. That means you should allow yourself to take in all the market has to offer because you don’t want to miss a thing!
As college students, we’re used to running from class to class and the pressure of deadlines. Allow yourself the opportunity to relax and enjoy all of the special treats tucked within. If you rush through the market, you’re going to miss something, and you may end up settling for a bad deal. Take your time and take advantage of college budget-friendly spending.
So go ahead, stay in your comfiest pajamas, and get yourself out there. Dance to some music, eat good food, breathe some fresh air, and enjoy the company of your friends.
We all need a day off, who wouldn’t want to spend it here?
