Fur

Faux fur is a great way to add a bit of texture to an outfit. Usually, this texture is ideal for winter but could be worn in the fall, too. Adding a faux fur jacket to a night out look can really spice things up! Also, because it’s faux fur, there can be so many different colors! You can go for brown, black, white, even light blue or pink. Pair a fur jacket or vest with a solid colored shirt and jeans for a casual, fun look.

Suede

Suede is another interesting texture to incorporate into your wardrobe. It’s a little more subtle, perhaps not as flashy as fur, but is still a fun texture. Suede is very common among shoes. A lot of booties are suede, which is perfect for fall. But now, suede skirts have made a huge comeback.  They’re fun, casual, and comfortable. They’re perfect for a night out or to wear to class. Pair a suede skirt with heels and a cute shirt for a cool night look.

Velvet

Velvet is probably the one texture that has made the biggest comeback since the ‘90’s. Just about any outfit can incorporate velvet. Though typically worn as a night out look, velvet has become very versatile. Velvet dresses and rompers have really taken off, lately. Of course, accents of velvet are very trendy, too. Like, a velvet headband, choker, or even shoes. White and gray velvet has become very fashionable, as well. A white velvet dress paired with some cool heels can really spice up a night look.

Leather

The leather is a classic style. It’s rather versatile and works for just about every situation. But, you don’t have to have a motorcycle jacket to be a part of this trend. Leather leggings have made a huge comeback in the last few months. You can’t go wrong with touches of leather here and there. Leather boots are great. Even a leather choker is a great way to add just a touch of edge to an outfit. Pair a leather choker with a dark tank and some jeans or a denim skirt for an edgy, unique look.
