Holiday Style Series: Part II

By Abigail Padgett

Hey there; it’s me again! It’s week two into my series on how to stay stylishly dressed throughout this holiday season, from fancy cocktail parties and galas, to more casual nights bar hopping. This week, I’ve been thinking a lot about the holidays and how the holiday spirits make this time of year so different from the rest. One thing that I think really draws people to getting to into the holiday season is the chance to dress up and be just a bit more daring with style choices. We decorate our homes and our lawns, so why would our bodies be any different?

Another really cool aspect of holiday style is that it’s actually pretty versatile. I mean, you could be vacationing in the Bahamas, skiing in Aspen, or celebrating at NYC holiday party, and sequins, velvet and silk are acceptable to wear at all occasions. With that being said, I’m going to attempt to successfully inspire some ideas when it comes to standing out (in a good way) this holiday season.

This week: shiny shoes

With all the black dresses and dark pants, a pair of shiny shoes is a great way to spice up your look. This season, metallics are in. You can wear these shoes to almost all occasions, no matter where you’re partying/vacationing this season. Get ready for some serious compliments!
