The contents of this post go out to those who were not in attendance during the most revolutionary party yet…and those who choose to relive it. Here is a perspective recap of the (Unconventional) evening.
The night started with free goodies from Bumble. I don’t know what it is with the word “free” that makes us college students go crazy but as soon as we see it, we NEED the free item. Who doesn’t love gifts?! The first 50 people who arrived were given hats, shirts, lip balms and fun necessities all wrapped up inside Bumble marked bags. Bumble not only supplied goodie bags for UP but they were also able to promote the trending company.
We were now halfway through the night, and the event was bumpin’ with music from the talented DJ’s, Nick Fabian and Tom Bluhr. The decor was so seamless and interactive it seemed to go unnoticed, perfection. Light UP signs, photo walls, yellow balloons, just to name a few. This left attendees with endless photo opportunities! We were all able to dance and let loose.
This (Unconventional) evening allowed for people to hang out, come together, and celebrate the release of the fall issue; all the while giving everyone the chance to express their own style in a seemingly Unconventional way.
It was an inspiring and much-deserved event for friends, family members, newcomers, and of course, the UP staff to come together to celebrate all of the hard work put into thus far.
