Holiday Style Series: Part IV

By Abigail Padgett

Aaaaaand it’s week four. With the Thanksgiving festivities already behind us, the winter holidays always tend to creep up faster than expected. Plus, the parties and functions usually happen before Christmas, New Years and other holidays. So, to jump right into it, I’ll give you my latest piece of fashion advice/inspiration to keep your outfit ideas on point as the holidays quickly approach.

This week: funky and chunky earrings

Like I’ve mentioned before, the holiday season is a great time to take fashion risks and be bolder, or in this case, funkier. I am one of those people who occasionally try to, let’s kindly say, “get creative.” Unfortunately, I sometimes end up entirely missing the mark. In other words, I don’t look as amazing as expected. So, I got thinking, what really makes an outfit stand out? And it hit me. A great place to take a fashion risk with a high chance of success is with jewelry. Especially earrings. Metals, tassels, gems or virtually any material look trendy and stylish. Use these statement pieces to take any look, from a black ensemble to even a more colorful party look to its fullest potential.
