Hotel Covington (which was just awarded the 4-Diamond rating by AAA) has garnered attention for its emphasis on food and products from Cincinnati, Kentucky and the surrounding region, as well as its unique aesthetic. It also offers personalized experiences for hotel guests, such a Bourbon Trail tour and pet friendly amenities.  I decided to check it out for myself over winter break.

I dined at their restaurant Coppin’s — named for the historic department store that the hotel now occupies — twice in one week. It’s that good.

Coppin’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week and offers brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Each menu is utilizes locally and seasonally sourced offerings.

Hotel Covington offers a refreshing take on Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky’s unique culture. With its modern design and vintage touches, the hotel is incredibly chic while still staying true to its roots.
