Should I believe in my horoscope?

By Allie Eames

I genuinely am conflicted. Whenever any sort of horoscope appears on my Snapchat, I’m all in to see what the “universe” has in store for my day or week. Sometimes, I feel as if my entire inner emotions have been analyzed by some higher power- it’s that accurate. But other times, things couldn’t be less in-touch.

Maybe it’s because I’m a Scorpio, and that basically, every post insinuates that we’re aggressive, moody, and secretive (essentially that we’re difficult-to-work-with bitches), or maybe it’s because I always find the superstitious difficult to believe, but I just can’t fully get behind astrology.

I mean, this stuff can get pretty *and excuse me if this is something you believe in* ridiculous. A quick hashtag searches and you’ll see that there is a legitimate following of people who believe that their entire lives are dictated by their astrological sign. From accessory of choice to Girl Scout Cookie to Netflix show to binge, there have been analyses of which is best suited to which sign, and the list goes on and on.

But back to the validity of the whole thing- is it wrong to only believe what I want to and kind of just ignore the parts that aren’t as convincing? Or can skeptics never fully enjoy the fun of it?
Can anyone let me know so that I can start investing in a more Scorpio-friendly wardrobe and lifestyle?
