By Gabriella Dini

Having taken many flights over spring break, I feel very knowledgeable when it comes to the top 10 items one should always have with them on an airplane. To better prepare yourself for upcoming trips, pack your bag with these essential items!

  1. Water

Airplanes are KNOWN to dry out your skin which can eventually lead to possible breakouts from all of the recycled air up there. It’s so important to keep your skin and self-hydrated when traveling.

  1. Lotion & Face Moisturizer

To go hand in hand with against the battle of dehydration, make sure you have some lotion or face moisturizer on you! While you’re flying or once you land, wash your hands and apply some moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and glowing.

  1. Makeup Wipes

Wearing makeup on airplanes isn’t the best idea because it can clog your pores and cause breakouts. Wipe that skin right off before takeoff and reapply as you please when you land!

  1. Snacks

The most important part of any plane ride. SNACKS! Airports can be very overpriced as I’m sure we’ve all learned, so to save some extra cash try packing your own snacks beforehand. If you’re looking for healthier options try nuts, oatmeal, fruit, popcorn etc. but of course throw some candy in their to keep you sane on the plane.

  1. Hand Sanitizer & Disinfectant Wipes

This one pretty much explains itself. Make sure to sanitize and wash your hands to keep from getting sick!

  1. Headphones

  1. Eye Mask & Neck Pillow

To make the uncomfortable airplane seat a little more comfortable…try out an eye mask or a neck pillow. These will block out light and help your headrest!

  1. Blanket or Shawl

We can’t really control the temperature on planes so if you don’t want to carry or use an airplane blanket, try opting for a cute shawl that can double as a blanket and as a part of your outfit!

  1. ID & Boarding Pass

Can’t get on the airplane without either of these… so make sure to keep them on you 🙂 You can even try out a monogrammed passport, or license holder that fits your style.
