One sweater, three ways, under $20

As college students, we are always looking for way to reduce, reuse, and recycle; especially when it comes to clothes. We can’t always buy a new sweater for every fall occasion. But what if we could reuse the same one in three different settings? An oversized sweater is the answer.

1. The cute but casual look

Pairing this sweater with jeans, a belt, and black booties created the perfect fall sweater look. This outfit is perfect for going to a pumpkin patch or work.

2. The more formal look

Next, we tied the sweater up and paired it with a skirt to give it a more formal look. This sweater is also easy to throw over dresses if you don’t like cardigans. Tying the sweater up gave it a unique look, different from cute but casual. This outfit is perfect for Sunday brunch or coffee!

3. The time for class look

Finally, we paired the sweater with some grey joggers and white Adidas shoes. It’s a comfortable look that’s easy to put together in the morning to go to class or lounge around.

If you own an oversized sweater, try out these looks, but if you don’t, I bought this at Paperdolls Boutique in St. Louis! If yellow isn’t your color, H&M has two different styles that come in more great neutrals for $17.99 and $19.99!

Take on the challenge of using one of your own pieces in multiple ways this fall season! 🙂
