There are many reasons to love fall. One of my favorite things about the season is that along with the drop in temperature and changing weather patterns, we get more rain. While rain can seriously put a damper on my long walk home from class some days, in general, I’m always happy to see it and to get an opportunity to put on one of my favorite pairs of shoes, my Jeffrey Campbell rain booties.
With the amount I wear them and love them, I’ve gotten asked several times in the last few weeks where to look for new rain boots that are easy to wear to class and aren’t your average pair of rubber boots. Here’s an easy list of a few cute and trendy options for the changes in the weather. Pair with your favorite jacket, umbrella, and coffee and enjoy the wet weather!
- Classic Style Twist
There’s nothing more classic for stormy weather than a yellow pair of boots, jacket, or umbrella. I love this pair that ties in the back and doesn’t break the budget ($79!) as an alternative to the classic pair of Hunter boots.
2. Pop Graphic Flare
While I can’t find the exact pair I have for sale anymore, these slightly different ones are just as cute and can make any outfit stand out. Jeffrey Campbell kills it with rain boots that are $60 or less, so check out his other options too!
3. Feminine Camo
I love these Jack Rogers rain booties that feature a shimmer of gold eyelet and make this version of a rubber camouflage boot feel soft and feminine.
4. Chunky-Sole Contemporary
I love how the chunky heel on these Kate Spade cuties is heavy and makes the boot feel more durable and weather-proof. The most unique part of the boot is the feminine little rubber bow at the heels of each boot, which give them the flare that we all have come to love from Kate Spade products.
For someone who isn’t looking for a girly boot, these Hunter studded moto boots are perfect, and the Hunter brand is known to be the best in rainwear.
Even if you don’t love rain as much as I do, these boots will make stormy days a little better!
