New spring playlist: UP|Sunshine

Warm (ish) weather is here. Which means it’s finally windows down weather! There’s honestly nothing better than rolling down the car windows, and jamming out to great music as the sun beams down on your face.

UP’s latest Spotify playlist is inspired by that feeling of soaking in the sunshine and feeling a little lighter because of it. This playlist is full of some of my personal favorite songs that make me feel like sunshine, all bright and shiny and full of life.

There are some old favorites, like “Dog Days are Over” by Florence + The Machine and “Loving Is Easy” by Rex Orange County, and new favorites, like The Head and the Heart’s new song “Honeybee” (!!) and alt-j’s “Breezeblocks,” which is an old song but new to me.

I think this playlist is a pretty good mix of different styles and artists, some you may know, and some you may not. It includes artists like Hippo Campus and LANY, which I have liked for a while now, and artists like Surfaces, which my sisters got me hooked on over spring break (they have a super cool beachy vibe without being reggae).

So pull out this playlist to jam in the car with some friends, chill outside doing homework, or just to find some new music. No matter where you are, you’ll feel like sunshine.
